Dear Lluis Almor,

Thanks for your question.

We recommend you to apply for multiple entries Visa which you can use to enter Vietnam multiple times and it doesnt matter if you enter from Lao by bus.

To apply visa to Vietnam, please fill the application form on our website Within 1-3 working days, we will send you the Visa approval letter issued by The Vietnamese Immigration Department via email. Upon arrival of Ho Chi Minh Airport, you can use this letter to obtain visa stamp with multiple entries on your passport.

Should you need further clarification, please feel free to contact us again.

E-visavietnam Support

Dear Ms Horst Woitassek,

Thank you for your question.

We would like to inform with you that your husband does not meet conditions of Visa exemption policy of Vietnam Government. In this case, we would like to advise you to ask the airline staff whether they allow him to board the plane with the passport's validity is less than 6 months or not. If they allow him to board the plane then we are able to proceed 1 month multiple Visa type for him ($24 for processing fee).

Regards to your case, if your passport's validity is more than 6 months, you can enter Vietnam without Visa on 28th June but when you re-enter Vietnam on 9th July, you need Visa. As a result, we advise you to apply 1 month single Visa ($19) for your second trip in advance at:
